Customize your profile with a logo and byline, upload policy documents, manage your staff and children. It’s also a great space to share news, get the word out about any events, or to discuss topics and gather feedback.
Whether you have a range of ages or types of care, set up rooms to communicate and work with these segments of your community. Room plans allow educators to collaborate and program with their children in mind.
You can even set up rooms just for parents to communicate with each other and only for educators to collaborate and share ideas as well.
Each child has their own portfolio that both educators and parents can post to. All a child’s documentation in one place makes for a rich digital record of their learning and development. Families have life-time access to their child portfolio, and both educators and parents can download digital copies to keep outside of Storypark.
A dedicated place for every educator to document growth, reflect and develop professionally. Set up managers and peers as contributors to your portfolio so they can provide comments, guidance and feedback. These also stay with an educator for long as they wish to use them.
Added planning, management and appraisal tools support your educators to work more closely with their managers, mentors and peers. They also allow for leadership, induction and managerial reviews utilizing documentation already in Storypark. Services also keep a record of all previous training, appraisals and reflections, even if people leave.
When required, both educator and child portfolios can seamlessly move between services. This has been designed so that everyone in each child's learning community can share in the development leaps, respond to emergent interests and support learning opportunities as quickly and as easily as possible.
